So, I haven't really written in a while. There hasn't been anything that I have been excited about writing. Life has kinda been the same. Sleep, get up way too early, run kids around, cook, clean, try not to yell at the kids, do church stuff, blah, blah, blah. But that changed yesterday!
Jon told me yesterday morning that he was being sent to San Diego for a conference for work. Not too exciting for me, except that I get to go! Thanks to the generous nature of our family who have very willingly consented to watch the kids, I am going with Jon! I think they all might have been worried that I would have a nervous breakdown if they said no. They didn't want to see hysterical, sobbing pregnant woman. That would have been sad! Now, they can't back out because I booked a flight this morning! WOO HOO! I'm going to San Diego! Of course, Jon has to go to classes, but that means I get to do whatever I want. Seriously, when does that ever happen?
The real point of this blog is to thank all of our wonderful family who agreed to watch the kids. None of them even acted like it was a big imposition to help out for 4 days. They immediately said yes. Y'all are all the best! Thank you for saving my sanity and giving me a chance to get away with Jon before the baby is born. I'm pretty sure we owe you all big time! (Okay, I already owed you. You'll just have to add it to my tab. I'll work it off one babysitting/crazy project [ahem, blue posterboard boxes] at a time!) We love you! THANK YOU!
