With the end of the school year comes the fun stuff - graduations and awards ceremonies. First up, Adam's Preschool Graduation! Adam's graduation fell during my trip to the beach, which made me pretty sad. Apparently, Adam was a little sad too, and even left the program to come sit with Jon. Jon had to bribe him with the little graduation gift I had left him to get him back up. Poor little buddy! One cool thing was that Adam was named the Star Student of the class. I suppose that means he's all ready for kindergarten!
The last two mornings have been spent up at the kids school for the 1st and 2nd grade awards ceremonies. Honestly, it's nothing too exciting. They read each kid's name and they get a certificate for completion of the grade, any sort of Honor Roll or Merit Roll they earned, and Perfect Attendance certificate if they earned it. (Emily almost made perfect attendance this year - stupid Strep throat last week!) Then they show a montage of pictures (12 MINUTES of pictures!) set to music. The kids always like that.Emily's award ceremony was first.
And we went for Robbie's ceremony this morning. Look how much taller he is than the other kids! He's a giant!

Yeah for summer! Well, yeah for school. I still can't decide. I'm a little sad that it's over tomorrow :(. They will enjoy summer though and seeing how we almost slept in today maybe we all need a break from getting ready in the morning :)! Way to go Adam! Emily is too cute. Oh, and yes Robbie is a giant! What great kids!
Yeah for summer! I'm excited and scared all at the same time. We'll have to swap stories and helps to make it through joyfully. :)
