Last night, Jon's crazy, pregnant wife sent him to get ice cream because it sounded good. Doesn't ice cream ALWAYS sound good? Anyway, while he was in the store, he found some mint Oreos. Mmm, good (although not as good as the ice cream!). Those are definitely adult food, so we hid them from the kids on the top of the fridge. This morning, Jon grabbed one while the kids weren't looking. After all, it's only okay for adults to eat Oreos for breakfast! Unfortunately, Adam HEARD the bag. He didn't see anything, but he heard the bag. He immediately stretched out his hand, and demanded "Want one cookie." (Yeah, we're working on his grammar!) Somehow, he KNEW what was in the bag. The rest of the day, he never forgot, and constantly asked for a cookie. Jon and I decided this must be one of the "other" gifts of the spirit not mentioned in the scriptures. Adam definitely has it! Oh, how lucky we are!
