So, yesterday I was sitting at the dentist's office for about a million hours, and I had a lot of time to read. So, I picked up Time Magazine (or something along those lines) because it had a story about how your siblings affect you. It was saying that for a long time, everyone has been trying to figure out how we become the people we are. Up until now, they had decided that it was a combination of the way we were born, our parents, and later our peers. Recently, they have been doing studies that show that your siblings actually have a bigger impact on you than your parents. They did all sorts of case studies showing that kids who could work through conflict with their siblings at age 5 would be able to do the same later in life. Interesting. So, I sat and pondered this for a while, and I came to this conclusion:
We've been blaming the wrong people for who we are. It's not Mom and Dad's fault . . . IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT THAT I AM CRAZY! THANKS A LOT! Oh, and I'm pretty sure all the good stuff that you guys are is because of me! Nah, just kidding (well, kind of!) Love you all!
