Summertime!

I am really slacking at posting things.  It's summer, though, and we've been busy.  Genius that I am, I decided that I didn't want my kids to be bored, so I made a whole schedule for the summer so we have something to do EVERY day.  It looks like this: Monday - Zoo (they have Member Mondays where we get in early, they have free snacks, and you get to ride the train and carousel free all day!) Tuesday - Arlington to visit Grandma and do something in the water (except Grandma wasn't there this week - but we were later than we thought we'd be!) Wednesday - Movie (they have free movies at quite a few theaters) Thursday - Swimming Friday - Storytime at the library It's a great idea in theory.  Except it's Thursday, and we're all exhausted.  So, we're cancelling swimming so Kelsey can acutally sleep.  I'm just not telling the kids, cause they'll be mad at me!  Plus, I actually need to go grocery shopping so we have food to eat.  Brilliant idea . . . needs a little work! Other than that, life has been fun.  Robbie finished baseball, and then found out he was put on the All-Star team.  Of course, we have to do that.  So we're playing baseball for a few more weeks.  Here's a picture of him with his trophy from the regular season.  Wow, he looks happy! [photopress:100_5104.jpg,full,centered] On Saturday, Robbie had a birthday party, and the other kids were really sad, so we had a tea party.  It was actually a lot of fun!  They really liked their orange koolaid "tea"!  [photopress:100_5098.jpg,full,centered] As for Kelsey, she's getting so big.  She's eating real food (well baby food anyway), and rolling all over, and putting everything she can in her mouth.  This week she really began sitting up on her own.  She's is so cute!  [photopress:100_5112.jpg,full,centered] So, that's what's up with us.  Nothing terribly exciting, but we're sure having fun!
