Somehow, when we woke up this morning, we momentarily lost our minds. What else explains the fact that we loaded up 8 kids, 4 adults, sand toys, a tent, lunch, sunscreen, camping chairs, towels and drinks and drove 2 1/2 hours to the Wrightsville Beach! Well, we did and it was an absolute blast! The kids LOVED playing the the water, especially Robbie. He was absolutely fearless, much to our surprise.

They also loved playing in the sand. By far, the most popular thing was being buried in the sand.

As for Kelsey . . . well, she just toted along with me. And then, as is typical . . . [photopress:100_5166.JPG,full,centered]
I think we brought home a ton of sand, a few seashells, a lot of memories, and a lot less white skin (which in Jeff's case is a good thing!) Thanks to the Vans for our trip to the beach!
