Some Days . . .

. . . I just want to curl up under the covers on my bed and hide. This might have been one of those.

It was not a great day all around. Jon was gone most of the day. Emily spent a good chunk of the morning yelling at me. (If she's like this now, I am scared spitless about the teenage years.) We didn't get anything done we wanted to because Jon was gone so long.

The best one of all, though, is that the transmission on the van went out on our way to Wal-Mart. Yep, that's just the cherry on top. With no van, we have Jon's car, which seats 5. Wonder which one of my kids doesn't want to go to church tomorrow . . .

There was good stuff about today too. I bought super cute little honey bees at Big Lots for $0.25. I got to take the kids to the library. We managed to get the van home without having to call a tow truck or walk. We actually have the money to fix the van. But, frankly, I'm way too tired and discouraged to think about those things. I think I'll just wallow for tonight. I'm sure it will be better in the morning. At least I hope so!

Yikes. I'm so sorry - and I FEEL for you about the transmission (I hope it wasn't catching!). How did you solve the car dilemma this morning?

Looking over at you today with some pretty rowdy kids, I don't know if today was much better! Sorry about Spencer - I hear he was one of them. (I need to stop letting him have sugar Sunday mornings or something!)

I hope things have gotten a little sunnier :). Well, not literally, but you know what I mean. Good luck with the van. I hate dealing with transportation issues!
