The Big Parade

We have a brother in our ward who is a pilot. He is part of an aviation club, and they entered the Arlington parade this year - supposedly the biggest 4th of July parade in the state. (So they say!) He had called us and said that he was driving a little plane go cart thing and wondered if Robbie and Emily would like to be in the parade with him. We, of course, said yes and the kids were uber excited. And besides, I love 4th of July Parades. (Although I prefer the Granbury parade - the small Texas town where Jon was raised - with all the fire trucks from 3 surrounding counties!)

Ready to go!

Waiting . . . .

Had to get a picture of the Six Flags float!

And I thought this one was pretty cool. (The theme was Great American Monuments)

Here they come!

It was pretty cool to see my kids in the parade! Happy 4th of July (again)!
