So, Jon's at the church for something. I lose track sometimes of why he needs to go. But, lest you think I am complaining, I've realized it gives me a few minutes to post on the blog. Yay! Silver lining, right?
A few weeks ago, we got a new missionary in our ward. And not just any new missionary - a greenie. Yup, a brand spankin' new missionary! His companion called and asked if we could do a "green" meal for him to welcome him on his first night. So, behold the glory (and to be honest, grossness) of the green meal!

We had green fettuccine, green salad, green jello, green french bread, green koolaid and green cake to finish off. The only thing not green was the chicken, because even I have my limits.

But, the elders seemed to enjoy it, and even if the food looked disgusting, it tasted great!

Welcome to Texas, Elder Barthel!

That is hilarious. And . . . yeah, kinda gross. (: I'm sure it tasted great, though!
That's awesome, what a fun idea! I might need to know how you did the green french bread. :)
