Monday - Arrived!
Tuesday - Spent the entire day on the beach. Have awesome sunburns to show for it. Spent next three days trying to figure out how to take a shower without actually getting any warm water on my skin. (Washing my hair involves a sort of limbo move.)
Wednesday - Did nothing most of the day! Read 2 books. Took a nap. Souvenir shopped. Picked up shells on the beach. Danced on the beach in the dark under the stars to some tunes from my iPod. (I use the term "danced" loosely . . . )
Thursday - Boogey boarded one last time. Packed up and headed home. Shopped at the outlet malls. Teared up when it was taking too long to get back to my family. I MISSED THEM!
Friday - GLAD TO BE HOME! Back to the normal stuff - loads and loads of laundry (but big shout out to Jon for doing most of the kids stuff), picking up the house (the giant pile on my stairs is almost gone), taking care of Emmy (who has been home sick from school for the last 2 days), watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (although it was hard to miss that one), blah, blah, blah.
Thanks to all my sisters and Mom for the fabulous trip. Thanks for putting up with me. Thanks to Mom for subsidizing our trip so we got to stay in a beautiful beach house instead of a tent. Thanks to CJ for dealing with the insanity of 6 kids while Jon was at work. Thanks to Jon for holding down the fort and keeping any of the kids from getting hurt. You all rock!

That looks like sooo much fun (other than the sunburn part - ouch!). I'm so glad you and the gals were able to take time away to visit and rejuvenate - hooray! (:
Welcome home! I'm glad your trip was awesome... aside from the sunburn. What a wonderful idea! Coming home to laundry, a sicky, and such is no fun, but sometimes it's nice to get back to life after being gone.
Thanks for the great pictures... you know.. y'all are much better at memoralizing the women trip than we were.
I'm glad you all got to get away! You so deserve it!
I'm really looking forward to my sweet wife returning home tomorrow! I miss her...
Welcome back! I am so glad you guys were able to go on a girls trip. It looked like so much fun! I can't imagine an entire week without the kidos. Bless your husbands!
Oh this is a terrific recap! I LOVE the new background that goes with it! Thank for coming... it was truly wonderful to have all my girls to myself. A HUGE thanks to all my boys.. you are totally GREAT!
I am so inspired by your trip that now I want to plan a Just Girls weekend with my family. Only I am not exactly sure how to get Sally here in good health and keep her in good health or if Jessica is nursing at the moment or if very prego Marilene will even enjoy herself! OH THE DRAMA! Why can't we just have a nice little weekend on the beach.
