Addiction

They say the first step to overcoming a problem is admitting that you have one.  In that spirit, I must confess to being addicted to watching the TV show "Alias".  Now, some of you might be wondering what that even is.  Very simply, it is the best show ever about a girl spy named Sydney Bristow who can beat even the big guys who have guns with a well placed round kick.  Kelsey was even almost named Sydney.    Jon kept joking we were going to name her Sydney Bristow Gee.  Sadly, the show is no longer on TV, so I must watch the seasons on DVD.  I realized I had a problem when I got up in the middle of the night to feed Kelsey.  Of course, I cannot just sit and do nothing, so I turned on "Alias".  After she was done eating AND back in bed, I returned to the couch to watch more.  So, the next day when Mom told me I looked tired, I felt a little guilty taking the nap she offered me.  I was tired because I was too addicted to a TV show to turn it off and go to bed.  I have realized I have a problem, and I am working on overcoming it. Oh, and before you all mock me, I know there are things you are all addicted to.  Randi and shoes, Mom and anything on sale, Dad and whipped cream, Jeff and blogs, Jennie and Dirk Nowitzki, Jon and Sports Center.  So, just think about that before you make fun of me!  At least I've admitted I have a problem!
