Christmas Morning 2007

And now it's time for Part Two of the Great Gee Christmas.  We always have Christmas morning at our house, so that Santa can come and we can do that whole thing.  Honestly, it wasn't anything terribly exciting.  We did someting a little different this year.  Before we opened presents, we read the Christmas story out of Luke.  I thought the kids would go nuts, but they actually sat and listened.  It was a really nice way to start Christmas morning.  When it was time to open presents, we tried a new tactic - the give-them-all-the-gifts-at-once-and-let-them-go-crazy tactic.  We normally give them one at a time.  It was a little bit messier, but the kids had fun.  The morning was great.  We played with new toys, ate breakfast, and got ready to head down to Granbury.  This first picture is one of my favorites that we took.  (Yes, we did take one with me in it, but it was blurry.  And yes, Jon is wearing a Dallas Cowboys Santa hat!)  Isn't my family cute?
