Promises

We actually did it.  We promised our kids that if they asked for 30 days, we would get them a pet.  So, meet Casey.  She is the newest member of our family.  She is a beautiful chocolate lab, and the kids adore her.  Yeah, she's not exactly the small, hairless pet that I wanted, but she's fabulous.  She's great with the kids, she's very obedient, and she is pretty easy going, although she likes to play.  After the kids went to bed, she has followed me around everywhere.  She'll stand right by me and nuzzle my hand until I pet her.  I think we're really going to like her.  And as a bonus, her crate is almost as much fun as she is.  Welcome to our family, Casey!
